SOSA – WA
SOSA-WA shall be a nonprofit social organization as defined by IRS Code 501(c)(4). SOSA-WA is dedicated to providing morale, friendship, and community service to the spouses of submarine officers in Washington State. Its goal is to promote social and cultural activities for its members, as well as charitable activities that give back to the local community and the submarine community at large. SOSA-WA is a “by your own, for your own” non-federal entity.
SOSCA – WA
The Submarine Officers’ Spouses’ Charitable Association (SOSCA-WA) is a nonprofit organization recognized under IRS Code 501(c)(3) and serves as the charitable arm of SOSA-WA. Its primary purpose is fundraising in support of the Dolphin Scholarship Foundation and local charitable organizations.
SOSCA-WA exists solely for charitable purposes, including the collection and disbursement of funds to charitable community endeavors. Donations made to SOSCA-WA and its charitable fundraising events may be tax deductible to the extent allowed by law.
